M. Uma Rani graduated with a LL.B (Hons) Degree in Law from the Multimedia University of Malaysia (MMU) in 2012. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2013 and has been in practice since then.

 

M. Uma Rani joined Shang & Co. in 2022 and handles primarily contentious corporate litigation and company law disputes. She has experience in advisory work on a wide range of areas, including Property Management and Dispute Resolution, Bankruptcy/Insolvency/Post-Winding Up, Employment/Industrial Relations, Contract and Tort Law, Intellectual Property, Estate and Family Law, Opinion Writing and Case Preparation, Court Procedure, Legal Research and Documentation, Litigation Strategy and Management, Client Advocacy and Trial Preparation.
